YOM Kippur 2009
Yom
Kippur 2009 was another defining moment for us.
During worship I had another visitation of the Lord.
Each time I’ve been visited by the Lord during these feast days
the Lord has imparted revelation and insight into what He is releasing
to the Body of Christ during the coming season.
This
year I had an expectation for what I felt would be a very important
impartation from the Lord in light of current world events.
So I was not surprised at the profound insight and yet the
simplicity of the message the Lord conveyed to me.
As I
was sitting in worship just prior to ministering the Lord appeared to me
and placed upon my head a helmet.
It was shaped like many of the depictions of the helmets worn by
the ancient Romans during the days of Jesus’ earthly ministry.
Having spent eight years in the military I immediately understood what
the Lord was saying. Let me
explain: when a soldier is about to disembark into the field of battle
the last piece of equipment he dons is his head gear – his helmet.
By placing this helmet upon my head the Lord was saying very
clearly to me, “It’s time to move out into the final conflict being
waged upon this earth.”
My
first reaction when faced with the reality of what I had been trained
and groomed for all of my life was, “Lord, I don’t know if we’re ready!”
Again, let me re-iterate that the visitations I’ve received since 2001
on Rosh Hashanah have been what the Lord has been speaking to the Body
of Christ as a whole. That
was the reason for my statement about all of us not being ready.
Immediately the Lord responded to my trepidation.
He said, “I have been preparing My Body for this hour since
before the foundation of the world.
What I have deposited within you is more than enough for the
battle ahead.”
We
must understand in this hour that we have been hand selected by the Lord
to demonstrate the victory He obtained for us two thousand years ago on
Calvary. We are not so much
entering a battle as enforcing the victory.
This
is not a season to shrink back rather this is the church’s finest hour!
We are about to embark on an extraordinary adventure in Christ –
the reaping of the final harvest.
The Final Countdown

I was teaching on Translation by Faith at The Meeting Place in Kettle Falls, WA. This particular session was the last in a four part series and that evening during worship I saw a Chariot of Fire appear in the room. The horse that was pulling it was white with blue eyes and was bathed in fire. His eyes showed a depth of intelligence and understanding that was astounding. I was able at once to communicate with him with just a thought, and he, in turn, could communicate with me in the same manner.
As I finished the session with a
prayer of activation I was led of the Spirit to invite everyone present
(about 33 people) to come forward and stand in the Chariot. As the
people gathered towards the front and closed their eyes they began to
have visionary experiences, some even being caught up into the third heaven,
some having visions, some sensing the fire of God to such an extent that
one person later said their gum literally melted in their mouth.
I personally was caught up in the spirit and carried away into the stars by means of this chariot of fire. The experience was at once electrifying and at the same time terrifying. As we left the atmosphere of this earth I saw the halter and the harness vanish from the horse and he said, “there is no need of that”. I was immediately given to know that in heaven with such creatures communication and trust are a mutual bond of love that is unbreakable and there is no need for one to control the other.
I was taken around the rings of Saturn in a flash and then as we came back towards the earth we stopped at a distance of about 30,000 miles or so; enough to see the whole circumference of the globe.
As I was looking at the earth I saw a mushroom cloud – a nuclear explosion happening in the region of the Middle East. I was given to know by the Spirit that it was this region of the world and again re-assured as I questioned the Lord about it’s location. As the mushroom cloud rose into the sky I immediately saw a clock begin a countdown. While I was looking at this clock, suddenly millions of angels dressed in red surrounded the globe and gazed intently at the earth. I had the impression that they were ‘containing’ the hoards of hell as well as giving silent witness to the last moments of this dispensation on planet earth.
My attention was drawn back to the earth as I saw hundreds if not thousands of souls ascending into heaven. I knew in my spirit that this was not the rapture but rather these were the souls of those who had died around the earth during this time of distress. As I followed the course of one of these individuals as he/she raced past me on my right side I was astounded to see Jesus as depicted in the Book of Revelations sitting on a white horse with the host of heaven, also on horses, in a skirmish line behind Him. All was silent.
Again, I was given to know that the time is short and the return of Christ is very near.
